2010 F150 Door Locks Not Working

Pushing the lock unlock button passenger door lock stuck down and had to be opened manually from inside handle.

So you could have a problem with the vsm which you said you already ruled out a wiring issue or multiple bad lock actuators unlikely especially if you have a four door model. If this occurs you need to troubleshoot the power door locks and keyless entry remote on the ford vehicle. Key fob and manual door locks stopped working. Ayva from united states 5 months ago. Driver side door started same thing. Change out the battery on the keyless entry remote control if the car is not responding to the buttons you press. The keyless entry system remote answered by a verified ford mechanic.

The vehicle security module vsm operates the door lock actuators in response to input from the door lock switches and key fob. Once opened worked like a charm until a few days later did the same thing. I have a 2010 f150 fx4 supercrew. Ford f 150 2010 xtr 4x4 110000 miles.

New batteries in fob. Both fobs won t open or close truck. Got locked out with keys in hand and neither doors would unlock. The automatic door locks do not work.

The power door locks stopped working on all 4 doors. 2012 f150 wiring harness issue. 2013 f 150 eco boost with suicide doors. Comment same issue here.

Aside from the fuses your drive side power door lock may be failing to work because of a bad door lock relay system or alternatively the locking switch button itself is not malfunctioning and in need of replacement. Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. Open the keyless entry remote control with a small flathead screwdriver then.
